RECORDING DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITES

• To help you retain and apply what you are learning from a session, use the Transfer of Learning Worksheet, p. 19, for each event.
• Keep a journal of learning activities to record your progress toward your goals. Use the "Learning Journal" form, p. 20. You will submit this document at the end of the three year period, but it is primarily an aid to you in charting how well you are doing what you set out to do.
• For the three program milestones, you will include:
  1. A short report of Minnesota Issues Forum that you have attended;
  2. An outline or abstract of your public presentation; and
  3. A report of the specialty capstone session.
• Use the Record of Development Activities form, p. 21, to record achievements along the way and your ideas for implementation and further development.
• Assemble the above in a learning portfolio and submit it to:

ASSESSING BENEFITS

 

Use "A Manager's Perspective on Career Renewal," in the Appendix in addition to the Preface and the explanation of the Career Renewal Program, p. 1. Are there benefits from your participation in the Career Renewal Program for your organization, for yourself, for those with whom you work, for those you serve?
