Teaching Teens to do Booktalks

Compare book reports and booktalks--and make booktalks sound fun.

Help them select titles that will be easy to talk about.

Write out educational goals for booktalks to help teachers understand that booktalks are fun and they can also be a great teaching/learning tool.

Demonstrate your own love of books and reading by showing the students how much fun you have with books.
