Your library card allows you to:
- Borrow materials from the Grand Rapids Area Library and from any public library in the state of Minnesota.
- Use the computers with internet access in the library.
- Check the status of your account and reserve or renew books online using the catalog computers at the library or from home.
Please have it with you when you want to check out, renew, or reserve materials.
Who is Eligible:
- Any individual who pays Minnesota property tax can apply for a library card.
- Out-of-state residents can apply for a card with a $20 per year fee.
Library cards can also be issued under special circumstances - inquire at the Circulation Desk.
Obtaining a Card:
If you don't have a card and wish to, you may print off the Application for an Arrowhead Library Card, complete it, and mail or bring it to the library.
