Certification Oversight Committee
The Certification Oversight Committee serves as an oversight body
for the MN Voluntary Library Certification Program and related
programs. The membership is appointed by the Minnesota Library
Advisory Council. The Oversight Committee sets, reviews, and
inteprets policy and guidelines for MN Voluntary Certification. The
Committee approves Certification programs meeting the competencies. The
Committee provides long range direction for the MN Voluntary Certification
program. It reviews and advises concerning the needs of the program
participants, providers, and supporters. It ensures the quality of the
the program through evaluation of the program, including periodic review
of the competencies, curriculum, and program criteria. The Committee
maintains a liason with CLIME and reports regularly to the MN Library
Advisory Council.
